The institute has programs that offer first-hand training to beginner traders in South African traders. Sandile Shezi Foundation
Sandile Shezi established a non-profit organization to transform the lives and minds of African youth. The foundation’s mission is to enhance education, health, and wealth in Africa to enable young people to take up leading roles in development.
The foundation aims to offer 2500 bursaries and full scholarships by 2025. In addition, it also runs a textbook support initiative that aims to provide better opportunities to learners. The initiative runs a Foundation Rural and township school development program.
Besides education, the foundation also focuses on health to enhance citizens’ well-being and boost productivity. Additionally, it holds fully funded health conferences and seminars to offer prevention, recovery, and general health care services.
Controversy
Shezi’s journey has not been without controversy. In 2015 Mike Schissler claimed the training and mentorship program was fraudulent and characterized by plagiarism. Also, Van Der Riet, Shaezi’s partner, was convicted of manslaughter in 2013.
